Everyday people are starting to see whales in Maui waters again. For the next few months Humpback whales from Alaska will make their way to Hawaii to Mate and give birth. I say Aloha and Welcome back !
Whales Tale
If you have ever wondered what it would be like to snorkel with Humpbacks, why not find out for yourself and join a an adventure dedicated to whale swimming. Please note this activity is only legal in two places in the world. Maui is not one of them but Tonga is, and for the last 6 seasons I have been leading groups there to swim with and photograph the whales. Just because its legal does not mean its easy or that we will swim with ever whale that we see.
I am looking for whales that demonstrate behaviors that might lead to a mutual encounter. This is when whales and humans float together and satisfy their curiosity about the other.
