Jelly Fish

This image was created during my first Tonga whale swim trip in 2006.  We were on a 60 foot sail boat called Impetuous doing a 10 day charter.  The captain was looking for a place to spend the night when we saw this mass up-welling of jelly fish.  He did not want to take a chance of getting any of these critters fouled up in his boat so he anchored and brought be back in the small dingy.  I swam with millions of these guys.  It was one of the most alien like experiences you can imagine.

In 2015,  we saw Mola Mola, Mahimahi,  and Sailfish while snorkeling.  In 2016 and 2017,  whale trips are scheduled, and who knows what we will see besides whales.
