Following your passion

Say hello to Flavio, and his passion is photography. We got up before the chickens and roosters and headed towards Maui’s north shore for sunrise.   While there were not a lot of clouds, to catch the pinks in the dawns sky, the tide was low and so was the surf.   This enabled us to get close to some cool looking rocks that kept getting slammed by the small shore break.  I used a very slow shutter speed to slow the water and capture Flavio contemplating his next photograph.

This image was created a few minutes prior to the sunrise.

Wherever there is water you can use your shutter speed to slow it down and create these kind of effects.

Happy imaging everyone.
