Born Wild Born Free

When leading groups to swim with whales, I always tell people not to swim towards the whales but rather stay together and float like jellyfish.  Doing this is counter to our intuition which is to swim toward the whale.  However when we are passive and act in a way that does not cause stress for the whales, we are often rewarded with great encounters, some lasting for hours.   There is really nothing else like the felling you have when a whale looks you in the eye.
