Brave New World

I am very fortunate to have a whale photography exhibit opening soon at the Montage Kapalua Bay Resort in Maui. There will be about 10 images in the collection and “Brave New Word is one of them.  The portrait is part of an edition of six, and is printed on Aluminum and is 56 x 28 inches.

Right place right time. Otherwise lucky...

Brave New World

I was so fortunate these whales came by to check me out.  I was in the water trying to photograph oceanic white tip sharks when these whales came swimming by.  Luckily, I was already in the water when it happened.   After the whales passed,  I saw three oceanic white tips, but they were shy and did not come close enough to photograph. The sharks were following a pod of Pilot whales.  It was an exciting day indeed.
