Stationary Predator

This snake eel has its body in the sand so that only its head is visible.  The color and texture resembles that of a sponge and since it stays still, unsuspecting fish pay it little attention.  That can be a fatal mistake.  If you would like to see one of these go to Manado, North Sualwesi Indonesia and the Lembeh Strait. Another great option is to go on the Damai.
