Lizard Skin

Wile leading a workshop the other day we stopped to buy some sweat coconut candy at a shack along the side of the road.    As we were about to leave a tourist said hey if your interested there is a lizard on that tree.

So I grabbed my 70-180 macro lens and managed to get this head shot from abut 4 feet away.  I love how the texture of the Lizards skin is so textured.   I have taken this lens on several photo safaris but this was the first time I really got to take advantage of it.

If interested in workshops that deal with Portraiture, IPhones, or Photoshop check out Maui Photo Tours.
