Maui’s Molokini Crater – along the back wall

While on a drift dive at Molokini recently, I came across this Slipper Lobster on the wall.   The urchin behind the lobster was the size of a large cantaloupe and the lobster was at least the size of a large loaf of bread. As for the lobsters weight I would guess 1.75 – 2 pounds.  I did what any photographer would do when I saw that tasty lobster.  I shot it.  However I used my camera not a spear.

If your coming to Maui and want to eat lobster try the Waterfront Restaurant. They have been open over 20 years and are great for seafood.  FYI they are currently moving to a new location and will be open again in a few short months.  I cant wait!
