Reflections add texture, and dimension to a scene.

Reflections are  compositional elements that can be used to draw a viewers eye into a scene, & attention to the subject.

Reflections draw the viewers eye into the photograph

This image was created in Vava’u Tonga.  Besides the reflections notice the repetitive lines created by the vertical lines from the posts in in the foreground on the right and how they help guide the eye to the subject.   In the back ground there are also dock posts which are also repetitive in design that also serve to guide the eye to the main subject the refection of the boat. For information on Tonga check out previous blogs on archive.
