Coming to Maui, why not take a half day photo workshop

Celestial Sunset

In 2011, I had the pleasure of doing about three private workshops a month. Most were for landscape photography.  This makes sense as so many people coming to Maui because it has beautiful beaches, mystical sunrises, incredible sunsets, waterfalls, and untold numbers of scenic views.  Other workshops included portraiture, lighting, macro and wide underwater photography.Regardless of type, it is fun to share what I know and help other create better photographs. It also gives me a great opportunity to get out and make some images of my own.

Three Bears Maui

Recently I put together a family photography workshop. We will spend a few hours talking about camera settings and photography. Then we will go outside and make portraits using the knowledge learned.  Everyone will take turns taking photographs, being models, and holding the reflector or diffuser. This is a fun family activity that will actually help people get more out of their time in Maui, not to mention create better photographs.
