Shipwreck Bar

This portrait of the once famous Lahaina Carthaginian floating whale museum was created  just days before the masts collapsed.  My dive buddy Daniel Opitz was slow in descending so I used the time to create this image without divers in it. The wreck is located in about 90 feet off water of Puumana.

This portrait along a few other other images of the wreck will be on display in what is going to be called the Shipwreck bar at the Waterfront Restaurant in Maui,  re-opening in mid May at a bigger location in Maalaea Harbor.  If coming to Maui please check out the restaurant and enjoy the art.  I will have between 40-45 different pieces in the restaurant. If unable to make it to Maui, keep checking the blog.  I will be posting an image a day.  Please use the online gallery to purchase fine art for friends or family.

If coming to Maui and interested in having a family portrait created please check out Maui Photography
